autumn clean-up
Please join us Saturday,
November 8, 2008, beginning at 9 a.m. for a clean-up and work day.
We'll spend the morning filling in holes, fixing fences,
completing installation of silt mesh to keep the crushed bluestone
surface in the run and off of the roots
of the trees and hedges, pruning, and cleaning remaining crushed
bluestone out from under the hedges. Volunteers will be posted at a
table in front of the run to pass out information about the run and sign
up members. To volunteer or for more information please
email us |

Get involved with your dog run!
We are looking for people to keep on top of
ongoing maintenance, organize events, refill the doggy doo bag
dispensers, keep the bulletin board up to date, and raise money for
ongoing upkeep and improvements. Committees are now forming for
maintenance of the run, caring for the hedges and other flora around the
run, behavior and safety, events, fund raising, and signs.
If you are interested in helping,
EMAIL US.
Even if you just have a little bit of time, it will help.
off-leash rules
On May 10, 2007, the New York City Parks Department launched a
newly clarified Off-Leash Policy formalizing off-leash privileges in
designated areas from 9 p.m. until parks close, and from opening until 9
a.m. (Of course, well-socialized, healthy, licensed dogs are welcome in
dog runs at all times when parks are open.)

Keep an eye out for treats and bark in the park...."
